May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

Mental Health Awareness Month

Join us for a variety of activities throughout the month of May! Mental Health Awareness Month has been observed every year in the U.S. since 1949.  Its goal is to to eliminate any stigma associated with mental illness by raising awareness of mental health conditions and challenges.

We recognize the importance of positive mental well-being throughout the year but offer a variety of extra celebrations and events this month! Please join us at any and all of these!

We are grateful to our corporate Mental Health Awareness Month sponsor, Service Credit Union!!

Youth Art at Service Credit Union locations – all month

This month we especially honor our youth, who are struggling with unprecedented levels of mental health challenges because of the pandemic.  We asked some local youth (Grades K-12) to share their feelings about the importance of mental health and their world through art.

You can view a handful of pieces at all Service Credit Union locations on their display screens. Many thanks to our partner for honoring our community’s kids!
